New job for SkyArts!
Very pleased to be working alongside Andy Jones again and this time on a new show for Sky Arts. Can't say too much at this stage, but we're having a great time making some really interesting (and awesome) 'art' inspired music!
In the interests of work/life balance..
I had an excellent time yacht racing on Sunday down at Ramsgate on the Assassin ( a very speedy 40footer). Glad that the old muscle memory kicked back in, has been a while! We were first on the water, not sure of our position after handicap applied but it felt damn good!

A 'Next Generation' endorsement!! (kinda)
Literally had THE next generation staying with us this week for The Shawshank Redemption theatre tour at The Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury. Both the brilliant Daniel Stewart (Blunt Talk, The Detonator & son of Sir Patrick) and the lovely Jeff Alexander (Death in Paradise, Doctors) thoroughly enjoyed my new showreels (poor fellas) and whole heartedly endorse me for composing work ;-) Even after I played 'StarTrek : The Next Generation' theme at breakfast this morning.

And here's the theme tune that the wife (Abi Gilchrist) sung and I played and arranged parts on. Written by the adorable Andy Jones of '2bit recordings'. You can see some of the in-series music I wrote on my documentary reel and work tab. This show is basically a 'how things work' for kids.. Though I've learnt a few things that I 'didn't know' already! R
